ت—te—t

‘te’ (ت), the fourth letter of the Persian alphabet, is pronounced exactly like a ‘t’ sound in English, and in its shape is once again identical to ‘be’ (ب) and ‘pe’ (پ), except that it has two dots above it this time, instead of the single dot for ‘be’ (ب), and three dots for ‘pe’ (پ), below the line. In this video Keramat shows you how to write the letter in a Persian style of handwriting, with three examples of words showing the letter in different positions:

at the beginning, تاب—tāb—swing
in the middle, کتاب—ketāb—book
at the end, دست—dast—hand
